Work, Work and More Work

Over the holidays, I like to work with my sister, Tracy the Audiologist, in her office to make some extra money (for those who don't know, and Audiologist is an ear doctor). Today is my last day of this two week adventure and we are going shopping this afternoon after we get off at lunch. Just so everyone knows, I am a huge fan of Gordman's, Forever 21 and Target. The clothes, shoes and best of all the prices are great for people like myself who are on a tight budget. (Dear Real, Big Girl Job...I am still waiting for you to grace me with your presence!)

Until next time... Happy New Year...may everyone look back over the past year and be happy with what they have accomplished and have no regrets!

Family

In my first blog, I spoke about my family so I thought I better put some faces with the names. From left to right; Dave, brother-in-law, Tracy, sister, Steve, Me, Daddy and Mom. This was a picture that was taken in the summer of 2008 in Destin, Fla. at our yearly family vacation. Sawyer was merely a seed in Tracy's belly. He was born April 11, 2009 and was only a few days old in the picture above. He has been the center of attention and joy in our family since the day he was born. It has been a joy to watch him grow, learn and develop over the months and now at 9 months old, he is a force to be reckoned with.

Three Years and Counting...

January 3rd of this coming new year, makes three years that Steve and I have been together. We began our journey together when we were sophomores in college. My Michigan born Yankee and I, the sourthern belle, met at school when we were freshman but we didn't really get to know each other until later in our college careers. Both athletes at the time, we had some things in common and began to build a relationship.

After three years of being together, the question starts being asked, "So, when are ya'll getting married?" That is a good question...and if I had the answer to it, it would be printed here. No ring on this finger yet. It has actually become a joke with Steve that when people we went to school with get engaged, everyone gives him a hard time about the fact that he hasn't proposed yet. Oh...it's all in good fun, but he definatley doesn't care for it too much.

We have a great life together right now and whenever we take the next step in our three year journey, it will be even better. Love you Mr...

First Blog Ever

Well hello world...I am now entering the Blogging world, which in my case, is proabably well over due. Seeing that I graduated college in May of this year with a Journalism degree, I should have been keeping my skills fresh this entire time. Puncuality is normally a strong attribute of mine so I apologize for my lateness.

To begin, most people that know me will tell you that I spend most of my time burning up the roads traveling to see my family. I am currently a daughter, sister, aunt and girlfriend. Hopefully the latter of the four is about to change...but that is another story (HAHA). I come from a family of four that is steadily growing in size with the additions of a brother-in-law and nephew. Also, I have had Steve in my life for three years now and we consider him part of the family as well. So, there are seven of us...
